Mid-Parental Height Method
This method calculates the genetic height potential based on parents' heights. For boys, we add 13 cm to the mother's height before averaging with the father's height. For girls, we subtract 13 cm from the father's height before averaging with the mother's height. This accounts for the natural height difference between genders.
Current Height Projection
This method considers the child's current height and age, estimating remaining growth potential until adulthood. The calculator assumes an average growth rate and adjusts predictions based on the mid-parental height to provide a more accurate estimate.
